Subject: Claim for Port Merrin trip
I attended the Regional Bridge Design Conference in Port Merrin from June 3 to June 5, and I plan to submit my expense claim in FinTrack this week. Before I do, I have two questions.
First, my hotel cost $205 per night because the conference hotel was the only one with rooms available. My director, Ms. Ruiz, has already approved this rate in an e-mail. Should I attach her message to my claim?
Second, I have lost the receipt for a $12 taxi ride from the airport. Will I still be able to claim this amount?
My meals came to about $45 per day, and my manager approved the $350 conference fee before I registered. I have receipts for both.
Thank you,
Arjun Patel

Thank you for your request. The Library Room is available on November 12, and our three-course menu can be prepared as a vegetarian option.
Unfortunately, the room has no screen, and its walls are lined with bookshelves, so projecting slides will not be possible. We would be happy to print handouts for your guests at no charge instead.
Your estimate comes to $756, which falls short of the minimum spend for this room. I suggest adding our wine pairing at $10 per guest, which would bring the total to $936. Please let me know how you would like to proceed.
Best regards,
